Indonesia's GDP growth rate was 5% in 2023, estimated 5% in 2024, and expected 5.1% in 2025. With a population exceeding 280 million, Indonesia ranks as the most populous country in the ASEAN region and the fourth globally. Significant structural transformations, with a notable shift from agriculture to industry and services, characterize the country’s economic landscape.
Moreover, Indonesia has witnessed a remarkable evolution in its export structure. While natural resource exports dominated the scene in the past, recent years have seen a diversification towards manufactured goods. This diversification is evident in the substantial growth of trade relations, particularly with Italy, which exceeded €4,600 million in 2022 and remained robust at around €4,000 million in 2023.
In 2023, exports from Italy to Indonesia alone reached €1,395 million, underscoring the country’s importance as a key market for Italian products. Given Indonesia’s economic resilience, demographic strength, and evolving trade dynamics, it presents a compelling destination for investment and business expansion initiatives.

Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) is the
largest venue area in Indonesia and one of
the best solutions for exhibitions,
concerts, meeting & seminars, and
conferences.
Being located in Kemayoran, Central of
Jakarta, makes JIEXPO’s area more
strategic and easily accessible.
Additionally, it will take about 30-40
minutes to Soekarno Hatta International
airport, and 20-30 minutes to Tanjung
Priok port.
